PRL-414B 3D Model

PRL is building its library of 3D models for its most popular products. If your desired product has not yet been modeled, please see below for prototype and additional information to help you create your own models. Please note that all information provided on this page is non-contractual, and provided for reference only.

• Several completed models are available as references and starting points for your model.
  
  • Many PRL modules share the same form factor, which is defined by the extrusion series and length, the left-side endplate number, and the right-side endplate number.
  • The endplate numbers also define which connectors are attached.
  • For example the PRL-414B is of the form factor PRL-970-2.8-109-69, which shared by only two products, while the PRL-420RS is of the form factor PRL-970-3.8-65-42, which is shared by many different products.
  • For an endplate with opening(s) that can be populated by more than one type of connector, the endplate number will have a differentiating suffix, such as -137T or -137B, for Triax or BNC, respectively.
  • While we believe these models to be accurate, no representations are made as to accuracy or suitability for any application
• All PRL modules with a cross section of 1.3" x 2.9" share the same extruded aluminum enclosure (PRL-970 Series) in a variety of standard lengths, with various combinations of endplates and connectors
  
  • Drawing 39001085-X7.pdf provides the extrusion lengths for several model prototypes, as well as the mounting hole locations for our mounting brackets and the protrusion beyond the extrusion for the various connectors we use.
  • Drawing 38500002.pdf shows the endplates used by most products in the PRL-970 Series. Several newer products have endplates in separate drawings. Please email sales@pulseresearchlab.com to request an endplate drawing. 
• PRL modules with a cross section of 3.0" x 6.8" share the larger extruded aluminum enclosure (PRL-985 Series) in a variety of standard lengths, with various combinations of endplates and connectors.
• Drawing 35001835 shows the dimensions of the 3 different mounting brackets used with the PRL-985 series.
• This drawing shows the brackets in use with a sample product, as well as the protrusions beyond the mounting holes for various connectors.
• Drawing 38002520.pdf shows the endplates used by most products in the PRL-985 Series.  Several newer products have endplates in separate drawings. Please email sales@pulseresearchlab.com to request an endplate drawing.
• For endplates not included in the above drawing, the endplate number in the table will have a hyperlink to that endplate's individual drawing.
• A table of individual components is available below.
• Component models were downloaded from the manufacturers' websites, and no representations are made as to accuracy or suitability for any application.
• In some cases the part number for the 3D model is not an exact match for the part number used by PRL (e.g. C&K T101LHAVGE vs. T101LHAVKE), and/or the model for a cross-referenced part is used, but the differences are in color, material finish, or other properties which do not affect the 3D model.
• The table below the components section shows the endplates and connectors used by each model.
• If you do not have a 3D model viewer, eDrawingsViewer is available from Dassault Systemes as a free download for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android. It will open STEP, IGES, and many other formats, but does not permit editing.

* Model has been revised to use a higher-bandwidth RJ45 connector, and the endplate has been revised for a tighter RF seal. The old 3D model is sufficient for most applications, but a new 3D model is coming soon.
